Who Am I?

I’m a hands-on business owner, freelance writer and bookkeeper. My clients enjoy the benefits of my diverse expertise as a business professional. I got started as a freelance writer/journalist in 1995. Since that time, I’ve written hundreds of business-related articles on everything from real estate trends and the economy to antiques and nanobiotechnology…yes, that is something real.

Why Should You Use Me?

For the past 30 years, I’ve provided freelance writing, bookkeeping and business consulting services to small- and medium-size businesses as well as non-profit and government organizations. I understand business and have a natural ability to adapt. I apply the education, skills and insights gathered in those decades to my work…and your projects. As a writer, I know the questions to ask so I can effectively understand and convey your message to your target audience in easy-to-understand language. Today I offer to you my lessons learned from three decades of hands-on business experience and 17 years’ professional writing experience. What Benefits Can I Offer You?

Since I’m a freelance copywriter, you only use me when you need me.
I can decrease your overhead…no need to pay employment taxes or other benefits.
Save time and improve employee productivity by using in-house employees for more pressing responsibilities.
I can provide an objective, outside view of your story…in a way potential customers can understand.

How It Works

  1. Before I begin, I speak with the person or people responsible for the final approval of the project. I help you to clarify the goals, objectives and scope of your project(s).
  2. I’ll submit a proposal/contract specifying the project details, price and timelines. Upon acceptance and signature, I gather company, product and other information needed to fully understand and complete the project.
  3. I read and research information for the project and write a first draft.
  4. I submit the first draft to the appropriate contact person for review, comments and changes, if needed.
  5. Upon receipt of any changes, I will make suggested edits and submit for final approval.
